Many people are caught in the trap of not having a realistic chance of accessing social housing, nor being able to afford the rents charged in the private sector.
Lar Housing Trust was set up in 2015 to provide homes at mid-market rent levels in villages, towns and cities across Scotland. These homes allow people to live affordably in their own communities, offering security, stability and a chance to plan for the future.
As a charity, we place great value on the wider benefits that good quality, affordable homes will bring.
Lar is governed by a board of voluntary trustees led by Chair Ken Macintosh with the day to day operation of Lar being run by an executive team.
Lar are also delighted to announce that we are Living Wage and ESG accredited.
